New OPTIMIN joint research project launched

Companies in Hamburg want to secure the sustainable recycling of the building material ” ash ” in the long term. The Hanseatische Schlackenkontor ARGE Vertrieb is represented on the research committee as a project partner by its shareholders Karl Eggers, Otto Dörner, Buhck, ETH, Kluczinski and Böttger, who have been successfully using the building material emvau-schlacke as a qualified building material in the greater Hamburg area for over 40 years. The joint research project OPTIMIN (Optimization of the Material Recycling of Mineral Residues from Waste Management) is financed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to the tune of 57 percent and has a total volume of 1 million euros. The project runs from 1 January 2016 to 30 June 2018. The project is part of the KMU-innovativ funding initiative, with which the BMBF is funding cutting-edge research in the German SME sector.
